Warm bread on a cold day!
The all natural artisan breads that we serve here at the cafe are now available to take home. Nancy Kluberspies the proprietor of Lovely Buns, and baker of all the breads that you enjoy at A Better World Cafe, will now take orders for her wonderful baked goods. We are pleased to have this opportunity to offer our handmade breads to you.
Bread Description:
Health Loaf -$ 6.00 This our most popular bread. Unlike other whole-wheat loaves it contains over 80% whole-wheat flour. It is also bursting with goodness in the form of flax, sunflower, pumpkin; poppy seeds as well as quinoa and a little honey. It makes excellent toast and sandwiches.
Whole-wheat and white sandwich loaves-$5.00 Great for sandwiches and toasting but a little lighter than the health loaf. Makes a delicious french toast.
Cinnamon raisin -$5.00 Another popular bread that is a breakfast favorite. Not too sweet with plenty of raisins. This is a favorite with the kids.
Baguette- $3.50 (2 for $5.00)The quintessential French bread. This bread tastes buttery and delicious.
Ciabatta- $3.50 (2 for $5.00)This Italian rustic bread is known for it floured and crunchy exterior and light and airy interior. This bread makes great deli sandwiches.
Focaccia- $5.25 Classic Italian bread that is topped with olive oil and fresh herbs. It can be the basis for homemade pizza and makes fabulous paninis
Sourdough-$7.00 Made with our own starter that we have lovingly nurtured for many years. This distinctive bread is amazing.
Gluten Free-$7.50 An increasingly popular alternative to wheat, this loaf contains flax and quinoa and is covered in sunflower seeds. This is not processed in a gluten free kitchen.
