Valentine Fundraiser for Elijah's Promise Culinary School

All of the staff at A Better World Cafe are proud graduates of Promise Culinary School in New Brunswick. The cafe also provides on the job training for current students and recent graduates. The current class of culinary students are preparing a romantic tasting menu from around the world. We think you'll love supporting the students just as much as the food.



Saturday Feb. 12th - Promise Culinary School at Elijah's Promise presents a Valentine's Day Dinner Fundraiser, with an Open House from 4pm-7pm.

Location: Promise Jobs Culinary School, 211 Livingston Ave, New Brunswick NJ 08901

Cost is $20 per individual and $5 for children under 13 years old.

In the case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for Feb. 19th. A message will be left on the voicemail of 732-545-9002 ext 113 on Fri Feb. 12 to announce the schedule change.

Italian:

Foccacia Margarita

Pork Risotto Croquettes with Cranberry Green Salad with Sherry Vinaigrette

Kid friendly pizzas with assorted toppings

dessert: decadent dobos torte


French:

Crepes with roasted sweet peppers and eggplant

Leek tart with beets and parsnip

dessert: passion fruit eclairs and white chocolate ganache


Spanish: yucca bites with mozzarella

ceviche with tomato and polenta grilled squares with pesto

dessert: floating islands


Asian: California rolls

Chicken pad thai in a coconut peanut sauce with asian vegetables

dessert: fruit skewers with dipping sauces


Tasting stations will be located throughout the building



About Promise Culinary School: Promise Culinary School has been teaching individuals in the culinary arts field for over thirteen years. The state accredited program has trained over 500 students and given them a second chance by equipping them with the skills they need to be employed on a field that pays them a living wage. The school has a 95% job placement rate for graduates.
